The first three modules are empty.
The last one is so out of date that it has become totally useless.

This codec wasn't good.
It didn't work on SIPR correctly in all cases.
The code had lots of warnings.
The philosophy of it sucks (opening dlls...)
It didn't work on non-standard architecture.

This has been broken for sure since 1.0, most probably nuch earlier.

Those cards are normally accessed with the standard FrameBuffer,
through X11 or svgalib instead. The mga_vid driver is not even in the
kernel (or not anymore).

They don't compile since a long time anyway.

In 0.9, the output refuses to work and the codec just segfaults.
In 1.0, it is inoperant due to the removal of the forked libmpeg2.
In 1.1, we would anyway need to rewrite it to the new vout API.

This is a sql module for VLC which connects the SQLite library to VLC.

It is computationally more expensive than the ugly one (and has higher
priority). Yet, in my opinion, it sounds even worse.

The ugly resampler is almost as fast yet way better.

We still need the configure checks.
Only the HAL device probe plugin is gone.

It was ever dead code within VLC. On top of that, HAL is now officially
deprecated in favor of libudev (and higher level D-Bus middlewares).

Those hardly build and do not work anymore since a long time. Noone seems to care...

Remove the ShowIntf module. It doesn't make sense when MacOS and Qt gui have a fullscreen controller.

This hasn't work for quite some time and we have projectM module.
Moreover, noone complained.
