from xvid.org; compile with --enable-xvid --with-xvid-tree=..., run with
    --codec xvid,any (the priority is lower than ffmpeg's for the now).

    todo list: direct rendering, better buffer handling, see why only I frames
               are rendered OK here... probably more.
